Penn Blowdown Separators & Tanks
The modern and efficient way of handling boiler intermittent blowdown. Separators have also been used for hydronic safety relief valve discharges, deaerator overflows, autoclave draining, and other high flow pressurized condensate to drain applications.

Penn Flash Separators
Flash separators use a tangential inlet and cyclonic action to instantly separate steam and condensate.

Penn Exhaust Silencers
When steam air and other gases are vented to atmosphere at high velocities noise is created. Typically the higher the velocity the louder the noise level. Penn makes two models of exhaust silencers to reduce noise levels.
The SP Silencer
The SP Exhaust Silencer is a single pass silencer designed to give maximum attenuation of both low and high frequency noise for air, steam, or gas exhausting to atmosphere.
The SP-S Silencer
The SP-S Exhaust Silencer is an economical approach to silencing where the noise level reduction does not have to be as great as the SP model. The SP-S Silencer has the same physical configurations as the SP Silencer except that it is two-thirds the length of an SP Silencer.

Shipco Condensate Recovery
Condensate pumps are designed to collect condensed liquid at remote locations in a steam system and move it back to the boiler room. Condensate can be driven by either electricity or steam. Motor-driven pumps typically have centrifugal type pumps and include controls that de-energize the pump when water level in receiver is low.
A typical motor-driven unit consists of a 3/16″ thick, welded steel receiver or cast iron receiver with an industry-standard electric motor that is close coupled to a bronze-fitted, centrifugal pump. Both simplex and duplex configurations are available with/without mounted, pre-wired control panels. The steam-driven units are typically used in hazardous environments or where electricity may not be readily available.
